Coming from a long line of craftswomen, Tama Lutsko started weaving as a 12 year old girl and remains especially drawn to the functional aspects of rug weaving--using recycled fabrics and working with available colors to create something both beautiful and useful. She established Montana Loomworks in 1998 in Wolf Point, Montana and remains inspired by the state's landscapes, traditions and colors. Married to an Antiques Dealer in 2004, she now resides at the base of a steep mountain in Helena, Montana.
