"There was a time
when each one made
a work of art
at the same time
as a useful thing
and out of this
uniting burst
a spontaneous joy."

(William Morris)

Featured Projects:

Fresh off the looms is a selection of
"blanket stripe" rugs.  These are woven out
of loopers discarded from the sock
manufacturing industry with the colored
stripe being made from old 1970's
blankets.  These are mostly three feet wide
and up to eight feet long.

Blanket Stripes
We are also using up several hundred
pounds of bolt end corduroy weft.  These
densely woven Scandinavian style rugs will be
either 2' x 3' or 2' x 8'.  They, along with a new
supply of vibrant recycled t-shirt rugs, will be
available in Baltimore at the upcoming ACC
show.
Do you like old bottles?
What is mitumba?
(and does it matter?)
If you've got the rags, I've got the time.
